My friend Amanda gave me tomatoes from her work at the last minute the other day. I couldn't possibly eat them all, so I decided that I should try making some tomato sauce from them. I have been very intrigued with a new form of nail design. It's very simple , but it does take practice to get it just right. It's Nail Stamping. I had purchased a Konad stamping plate about 4 months ago, played with it a little and put it away. I then bought the Monster Bundle Plates from Amazon.com. I really like the designs, but I must say that the Konad Plates are superior to the MB Plates.

Well this last weekend my grandaughter had her 10th birthday and this is what I made for her. A Pincess Quilt. She just loved it and I am so happy I was able to make it for her. I made this Checkbook cover today. I saw a similar one on the internet, but it had more pieces to it. My hubby designed this with 1 -12x12 paper. I made this Peach Cobbler for Dessert the other night; all I had was canned peaches, but it turn out really good anyway. I bet this would be excellent using FRESH peaches. I will try this again with fresh peaches. We topped it with a light Vanilla Ice Cream and it was still Yummy! I recently made this set of 12 note cards. I stamped the background with a versamark clear ink and and used it on the brown band as well using a simply pencil eraser and a scalloped punch on the initial.

This card is very simple & elegant, a very nice lady sent me the polka dot paper made with her cuttlebug embossing plates. I have a cuttlebug , but nothing to go with it. So she got me really excited to see all the cool designs I can get for it in the embossing folders.

I used a lavender cardstock w/ Brown bazzil paper and used more graphics from PCCrafter with a scallop punch and Martha Stewart's glitters. I Also added a beige 2 inch gross grain rivvon.

I scraplifted this from the net. It was too cute. I don't stamp so hubby drew a bear for me and I basically copied the elements. I love this card it is so super sweet.

This is Caffeine Kitty, So Adorable! also from PCCrafter, I used a glitter pen around all the Kitty hair sticking up and used brown bazzil paper, and regular pink card stock with avocado green gross grain ribbon.

This card is a Matchbook style card I used a subtle stamping effect on the lavender background with Martha Stewart's white pigment ink and stamps from cloud nine designs. I also added some cute little purple dots on the top right of the card with Martha Stewart's Glitters.Publish Post
